Dear Mom,

You are inspiring.

I need you to kiss my owies, hug away my fears, and help me laugh at my failures.

I always will.

I love you!

Aren't families the BOMB.COM!!!  The best graduation gift has been visiting our families.
This summer we are living in Oregon!  We popped down to see my side

Yes, that is a chocolate extreme blizzard.  Your jealous, aren't cha.

Cheese cake was an early birthday surpise for....

This studly man!

We went dancing at the retirement home with mom and dad and guess what!?! We were left in the dust, but we loved it!

Then it was off to Oregon.

Somehow this very entertaining thing happened--see photo above, only a taste of the entertainment afforded on our lovely drive.
 Speaking of lovely...
Our apartment home for the summer is lovely.  Smells great, doesn't give me asthma, and has a secret door on the celing of the bathroom.  I haven't been brave enough to open it yet.  As for Oregon, getting my gas pumped for me kinda makes me feel famous.  I discovered the secret to getting the mildew smell out of towels.  That was triumphant.  Oooh and very fun, we have a superstore Goodwill next door that pretty much knocked my socks off.  Look what Austin bought there:

that's right. You have permission to make fun of him for the rest of forever.

We had a weekend before work started so we buzzed up to the Fife side.

Dad Fife took us to see the Ballard Locks, and we made friends with a smolt (baby salmon) named Freddie.

Ladies and Gentlemen the fearless motorcycle men! Shawn rode with Dad and I rode with Austin.  After strict orders from Mom Fife to come back in one piece we took a GORGEOUS drive...

...that peaked at this super cute, hot chocolate stocked, bakery at the end of the ride.
